Our Mission

To inspire creativity, confidence, and passion through high-quality dance instruction within a supportive, safe, and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels. We believe the performing arts—particularly dance—uniquely foster personal growth, nurture well-rounded individuals, and empower each student to develop their own artistic voice.

Our Story

Shore Performing Arts was founded by Shelby Trenary to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where students can cultivate their creativity, develop a passion for dance, and explore the performing arts, here on the Eastern Shore. Our studio is committed to delivering high-quality technical training while guiding and encouraging dancers throughout their artistic journey.

Our comprehensive curriculum includes ballet, jazz, contemporary, and tap, fostering versatile and well-rounded performers.Through expert instruction and specialized conditioning, students build strength, body awareness, proper alignment, and the technical foundation necessary for long-term growth and success in dance. Along with codified techniques, we also offer classes for caregivers and infants to bond, for toddlers to explore music and movement and for individuals with neurodiversities to receive movement therapy. Whether it is an experienced dancer training to pursue a professional career in dance, or a toddler gaining confidence to take their first steps, we welcome you to our dance floor.

Above all, we strive to inspire a lifelong love of movement, helping every student discover confidence, creativity, and joy through dance.
